More Story Contest News
I hope you’re all having fun with the Halloween Story Starter Bets and I gave you yesterday. I have more contest news; this is about the Author’s Choice story for Week 19.
Things were a little crazy around here last week and we forgot to pick a Contest Judge for Author’s Choice. Yeah, that’s not good. So, Bets and I talked and decided that since WE started the contest, one of us should be the judge. We were going to play Rock/Paper/Scissors for it, but Bets always wins and then I pout, so that doesn’t really work for us.
Anyway, what we finally came up with was this: We’re BOTH going to judge Week 19: Author’s Choice. Since there are like a gazillion entries, Bets took half and I took half. We are each going to pick 3 favorites from our halves. Then we’ll get together, read the 6 finalists’ stories and pick one winner from those six - TOGETHER.
We hope to accomplish this in the next week or so. THEN it’ll be time to send ALL the Weekly Winning Stories for last quarter over to Archie Comics Headquarters. There, the Artists and Writers will choose another Grand Prize Winner!
Whew! I got tired just explaining all that! I hope you understood what I just said. Anyway, LMK what you think of our plan. :)

Your keeping me awake whenever I read this post about the "Author's Choice" story. O_O My eyes are wide open because of this, but that will help me study. Hahaha... :)

Well, Sarah, Patty said not to put anymore URLs, so I deleted it. Although it feels akward for me to have that "URL" section to be blank. But, I have to listen to Patty! :) I never put any links towards any random website though. I only put archiecomics.com. Because if you press my name, then BAM! You're back on the Archie Main page area. So, there's actually nothing to worry about if you press my name. ;) It's safe and groovy. :) Well, I have to get ready for everything... busy, busy, busy. As President of the Archie Club, I must be prepared. I have to make sign-ups, slips, order the materials, etc. Everything. Well, bye, bye. :)
